It's the final countdown

There are only 41 days left of the year! This year has flown by. It has brought a lot of change for me and hopefully a lot of growth with it. As we move into the final days of the year, I hope you can look back and see how far you have come, how much you have overcome.

Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. I know, Christmas is magical, I agree. But Thanksgiving seems to be more focused on what we already have. It invites us to share what we have. To give thanks for what we have. We spend time with family. For me, it's time focused on just family, without the distraction of gifts. Don't get me wrong, I love to give and receive gifts, but it so nice to just spend time with the people I love with no thought of what I'm going to get or give.

If you're in the scramble of finishing up Christmas gifts, I'm right there with you. Don't feel overwhelmed! Break it down into tiny steps. Goals for each week or even each day. I made so much progress last week because I broke it down into more manageable pieces. It fights that overwhelm and gives you a clear place to start and once you get going, that momentum can keep you cruising right along!

If you need any last minute supplies, I'm here for you. If you need a last minute gift that doesn't look like you grabbed it of the store shelf, I'm here for that too. If you've decided to jump of the gift train and just enjoy every moment with no weight of gift giving, I support you there too.

I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving and that your Christmas season is filled with joy. I know the holidays can be a hard time for some people. If that's you, I see you. I love you. You are not the only one. Even those people posting happy family gathering pictures probably had a squabble with Uncle Joe or had to listen to Aunt Jen complain about her bunions. Their kids only ate rolls and their husband watched Football all day. You'll get through this, even though it's hard. You are strong.
